Verizon tweaks DSL Pricing

With a horrible economy and consumers tightening their household budgets Verizon is offering a new DSL product offer. It's called DSL Internet pricing for life.

Although the concept is not new as this package was offered back in 2007, Verizon is once again introducing this to the public.

It's available to customers who sign up for a 2 year contract. As long as you keep the dsl service, your price will never go up.

Verizon has been focused on marketing Fios as of late and has lost market share over the last quarter for this reason and the economic downturn. DSL customers have also been unhappy with the slow speeds that have come with their dsl offerings.

To counter this Verizon DSL has upgraded entry level upload and download speeds and is promoting double and triple play high-speed internet service bundles at reduced costs.

Hopefully these type of plans are going to be expanded in the future. The possibilities of entire neighborhoods on a shared broadband plan can make it cheaper for areas further from the main urban centers to expand broadband out there. Check out your DSL internet service provider today and you might be surprised.
